CNBC PRESENTS “INSIDE THE MIND OF GOOGLE”

CNBC Google Special will be Replayed Dec. 24th at 7 pm Central and Dec. 25th, 11 pm Central!

The special was all about Google…the headquarters, the minds behind the company and how Google helps all types of businesses, from small to large. Below are a few notes I took from the special.

*Google AdWords: 95 percent of Google’s multi-billion dollar profits come from selling AdWords. Its one of the most revolutionary developments in the media world since television itself, says author John Battelle: “AdWords is what made Google…Google.” AdWords is what generates the ads – or “Sponsored Links,” you see on a Google results page.
*A small Cowboy Boot store that uses Google adwords was asked “How good of a program is Google Adwords for small businesses? His answer, “In my opinion, it would be indespinsible at a time like this.” You can hit the people that are actually looking for the product.”
* You can’t buy your way to the top if your ad isn’t relevant. The Quality of site pushes them up.

Why are the above notes important?
